*Muscat is one of the most famous Arabian stallions that has ever lived. He is the 4th leading producer of Arabians all-time, and is considered the leading progenitor of the Naseem sire line. Born at Tersk stud in 1971 (by Salon and out of Malpia, a Priboj daughter) *Muscat was the youngest stallion ever utilized for breeding at the world-famous Tersk Stud, such was his greatness. Over a hundred international Champion sons and daughters of *Muscat grace the world's most recognized breeding programs. In 1980, *Muscat is the first stallion ever to be named US National Champion, Canadian National Champion and Scottsdale Champion all in the same year! *Muscat's offspring have been highly valued in recognition of his beauty, athleticism, and elegance demonstrated with correct conformation, a long neck, elegant balance and a dynamic trot. The acquisition of *Muscat from the Russians was no easy task as Howard Kale Jr. took over a dozen trips to Tersk and had to trade two of America's finest Standardbred stallions valued at a million dollars each for him. Lead ropes exchanged on the Polish/Russian border and the legendary journey began. The incredible journey progressed to Taylor Ranch as Rick and Paula united *Muscat with exquisite mares and welcomed people from around the world to partake in their commitment to excellence. It is wonderful to witness the nobility and pride of *Muscat through his sons and daughters that are available at Taylor Ranch. The legacy of *Muscat endures and his value as a contributor to the breed proceeds in a fine parade of champions! |
